Grading bender

Yes, I procrastinated. Yes, I vaguely complained about it on Facebook, and a couple of non-teachers gently razzed me about it by pointing out the group on FB called "If it is SOOOOO annoying to grade all those papers WHY DID YOU ASSIGN IT."

I will ignore all the syntactically stupid and inaccurate choices that group's creator made.

I don't mind taking a long time grading your work. It's hard to find the time, just like it is for you to do your homework. My promise to you is this: when your paper is on the block, it has my full attention, for somewhere between 20 and 30 minutes. I've graded exactly 30 of them so far, and it has taken roughly 10 hours. And because of my procrastinating (and obsessive baking), that means that ~18 of my next 48 hours will be spent finishing them.

Here is a sample of the finished products. My comments are there in the hopes that they will help you improve your writing quickly and painlessly.

The good news is, I've got the Star Wars trilogy on in the background, I've got some pizza, I've got a box of Abuelita, and I've only burned up one of my pretty Flare pens on this endeavor.
